Robert Haas



Robert Haas 


Robert has been involved in the PostgreSQL project since 2008, first as a patch reviewer and committer and a later as a major developer. Prior to that, he was a PostgreSQL application developer for nearly ten years. Features he has worked on include parallel query and supporting infrastructure (9.4 – 9.6), the replacement of System V shared memory with anonymous shared memory (for 9.3), read and write scalability improvements (for 9.2), index-only scans (with Heikki Linnakangas and Ibrar Ahmed, for 9.2), unlogged tables (for 9.1), and left join removal (for 9.0). He works at EnterpriseDB as VP, Chief Database Architect.


JimM   Jim Mlodgenski

Jim has more than 15 years of experience developing data intensive applications and infrastructure. Prior to joining OpenSCG, Jim was CEO at StormDB, a Postgres-XC scalable public cloud solution. While at StormDB, Jim envisioned the offering and was responsible for all product development. Prior to StormDB, Jim was Chief Architect at EnterpriseDB, leading EnterpriseDB’s technology direction across EnterpriseDB’s cloud offerings and multiple product lines.

Jim also is active in the community, co-founding both the New York and Philadelphia PostgreSQL meetup groups. In addition, Jim presents at numerous Postgres conferences globally.


AmitK   Amit Khandekar

Amit Khandekar has been a PostgreSQL internals developer since 8 years ago when he joined EnterpriseDB. He has hands-on experience in various PostgreSQL server modules. He also contributed to Postgres-XC as a member of the Postgres-XC Development Group.


Apoorve_mishra  Apoorve Mishra

Apoorve is a PostgreSQL DBA, currently working with EDB. As part of his role; he provides remote database administration and onsite consulting to multiple clients. Apoorve has 4+ years of experience as a PostgreSQL DBA and has also worked on Oracle and MongoDB in the Past. My area of interest is database tuning and optimization. In my free time, I enjoy playing snooker and going for long bike rides.


AMS  Abhijit Menon-Sen

Abhijit Menon-Sen has been contributing to Postgres development for many years. He works for 2ndQuadrant


himanchali  Himanchali

Himanchali is currently working at InMobi as ‘Tech Lead -Production and Infrastructure Engineering’. She has been with the databases engineering team for more than 6 years, which is where she started with PostgreSQL 8.4 version leading to a long journey to PostgreSQL 9.4. Himanchali has been primarily working on Database applications and operations solution which includes RDBMS, Data ware house, NoSQL. Other than databases; scripting, automations, deployments, tech talks have been my work area.

In my free time, I love reading (Fiction) and spending time with my family:-)


JeevanChalke  Jeevan Chalke

Jeevan has done his M.Tech in Information Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB). Jeevan is working as a Principal

Software Engineer at EnterpriseDB for the past 7 years. His work includes adding proprietary new features in the PPAS, an advanced relational database server by EDB. He has also contributed number of small patches and offered various reviews to the global PostgreSQL community. In the past Jeevan has also been a speaker at OSI days, India.


Ramachandra  Ramachandran

S Ramachandran is working as Principal Systems Analyst in the Open Technology Group with National Informatics Centre for the past 26+ years. He has worked in major projects as Developer/Implementer at Delhi, Mumbai mostly in on Linux based Perl,PHP, Java,Oracle DB, Forms 3 & 6 and MySQL applications previously. Main aim of group is promoting Open Source/Standard based products, particularly PostgreSQL and recently   on the Apache Cassandra , the NOSQL store. Ramachandra does provide consultancy on Apache HTTPD (with PHP) and Tomcat hosting,securing and tuning to NIC Units across the country and to State Govt Departments.   Started using PostgreSQL from version 8.2 onwards. He has also conducted training sessions on PostgreSQL

Pavan   Pavan Deolasee

Pavan has been associated with PostgreSQL since 2006. He is known for his work on Heap-Only-Tuple (HOT) project and has contributed many patches to PostgreSQL. He is a major contributor to Postgres-XC and Postgres-XL projects. He works for 2ndQuadrant
